IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals Registers Second Win As They Beat SRH By Seven Runs

Date:

Hyderabad: Delhi Capitals defend the low-score target of 144 runs as they register their second win of the season against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday.

David Warner and the side managed to pull off a spectacular victory against SRH. A complete bowling performance from Mukesh Kumar, Ishant Sharma, and Anrich Nortje guided DC to the win.

Batting first, Delhi Capital’s opening lineup fell prey to a fierce SRH bowling display. Phil Salt was dismissed on the first delivery by an experienced Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Crucial knocks of Manish Pandey and Axar Patel led Delhi Capitals to a respectable target of 145 runs on board for the chase.

SRH’s batting lineup failed to forge a partnership as they kept losing wickets throughout the innings.

Impact player Mukesh Kumar remained the crucial factor for DC as he bowled the final over and restricted SRH from scoring the final 13 runs.

With this win, DC will again face SRH on Sunday in a double-header clash.
