Man Shot At By Colleague Following Argument Over Chair In Gurugram

Gurugram: In a bizarre incident, an employee working in a financial firm was shot by his colleague near the Ramada hotel over an argument for a chair in their office.

According to police, the victim identified as Vishal (23) was critically injured and is currently being treated at a private hospital in Gurugram.

After receiving the information about the incident, the police reached the spot and rushed him to a nearby hospital. The police have registered an FIR under IPC section 307 (attempt to murder) and sections 25,54,59 of the Arms Act.

According to a statement, Vishal confirmed that he had an argument with his colleague Aman Jangra regarding a chair in the office on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, the co-workers had an argument over the same chair following which he walked out of the office.

According to police, Vishal alleged that Aman came walking on the road from behind, took out a pistol and shot at him before escaping the spot.

Virendra Vij, DCP East, said that “The accused has been identified and we are conducting raids to nab him. He will be arrested soon,”.
