Rahul Gandhi Changes His Twitter Bio, Writes ‘Dis’qualified MP’

New Delhi: Days after being disqualified from Lok Sabha as a Member of Parliament, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi changed his Twitter bio on Sunday. Rahul Gandhi updated his Twitter account bio to ‘Dis’Qualified MP’.

Gandhi was disqualified as a Member of Parliament after he was convicted in a criminal defamation case over his ‘Modi surname’ remark.

As the grand old party launched a day-long satyagraha campaign against the BJP, Rahul Gandhi displayed the disqualification move on his account.

The Wayanad MP has over 23 million followers on Twitter. Earlier on Saturday, Rahul Gandhi in a press conference highlighted the alleged relation between the Prime Minister and Adani. He further claimed that the “Whole game of disqualification, allegations by ministers aimed at distracting people from Adani issue.”
