A video of India’s former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has gone viral on social media, claiming that a journalist asking Singh a question about Sonia Gandhi. The reporter purportedly asks him: “Sir, does Sonia ma’am still dance?”

Performing a Reverse Image Search with relevant keywords, we found a news report in India Today, dated December 28, 2018, based on the tweet of ANI. The headline reads: “Manmohan Singh was asked about The Accidental Prime Minister. What happened next?” 

ANI tweet, dated December 28, 2018, had carried the original video in which a journalist can be heard asking Manmohan Singh what to say about the film made on him. The tweet text reads, “#WATCH Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh evades question on the film #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister.”

Thus, it is evident from the above information that an edited video of Manmohan Singh is being shared with misleading claims.
