Mumbai: The security around Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence was beefed up after he reportedly received a threat email from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
According to reports, the Bandra police have registered a case under sections 506(2),120(b) and 34 of IPC in connection with the threat to Salman Khan.
The report further added that the email was received on the actor’s office email address in which Goldie Brar, an associate of Lawrence Bishnoi wanted to reportedly talk to Salman Khan.
According to ANI quoting Mumbai Police, “Police booked jailed gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar and Rohit Garg for allegedly sending threatening emails to actor Salman Khan’s office.”
Earlier in November, the state government decided that Mumbai Police will provide Y+ grade security to Salman Khan in connection with threats received from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
