BJP Chief Hits Back At Rahul Gandhi, Says “No Place In Democracy For…”

New Delhi: Amid the recent row over Rahul Gandhi’s speech, BJP president JP Nadda on Sunday lashed out at the Congress leader and accused him of overstepping all bounds of democracy.

During a virtual address at the inauguration of ‘National Youth Parliament’, JP Nadda claimed that “Those who do not believe in democracy have no place in democracy”.

He said, “Rahul Gandhi has crossed all bounds of democracy”. He further lashed out and called him mentally bankrupt and alleged that Rahul Gandhi “instigated” foreign powers like European countries and US to interfere in India’s internal affairs.

Nadda further questioned Rahul Gandhi’s statements, saying people of India do not listen to him, but merely tolerate him.

However, Congress continues to reject BJP’s charge against Rahul Gandhi and further sought permission to speak in parliament to answer ruling party’s questions on his comments in UK.
