Ind vs Aus 1st ODI: Indian Bowlers Dominate As Australia Bowled Out For 188

Date:

Mumbai: India in command as they bowl out Australia at 188 in the first match of the ODI series on Friday at the Wankhede Stadium.

Indian stand-in skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bowl first. Indian bowlers dominate the play in the first innings as Australian batting falls apart in the middle overs.

Mohammad Shami bowled an exceptional spell and secured three crucial wickets. Siraj joined the attack and picked up three wickets in his spell.

Mitchell Marsh managed to hold on to his wicket and played a crucial knock of 81 runs in 65 deliveries. Steve Smith tried to accelerate the Australian innings with Marsh but was dismissed by Hardik Pandya.

India now needs 189 runs to register their first win in the three match ODI series. Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan are likely to open the innings for the side as India moves to chase down the low target on board.
