‘Identify 10 Problems That Can Be Solved Using AI’: PM Modi Asks Stakeholders

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a post-Budget webinar on the subject of ‘Ease of Living Using Technology’ said that technology will help India achieve the target of becoming a developed nation by 2047.

PM Modi while addressing the meeting said that India of the 21st century is constantly empowering its citizens with the use of technology. He underlined that every Budget in the past few years stressed the ease of living for people with the help of technology.

PM Modi further said that the government wants to reduce the cost of compliance of small businesses, and asked the industry to formulate a list of compliances that can be pruned.

He said, “We want to reduce the compliance cost of small businesses. Can you (industry) formulate a list of unnecessary compliances that can be pruned. We have finished 40,000 compliances,”.

Referring to 5G and Artificial Intelligence and their impact on industry, medicine, education and agriculture the Prime Minister emphasized the need to set a few targets. He suggested ways to stakeholders through which these technologies can be deployed for the welfare of the common citizens, and the sectors to be focused.

He added “Can we identify 10 such problems of the society which can be solved by AI?” He asked the stakeholder to identify 10 problems that can be solved through the integration of Artificial Intelligence.
