After an earthquake of Magnitude 6.1 Earthquake struck Japan’s Hokkaido, a picture of a collapsed road is doing rounds on social media with a claim that it shows the aftermath of the earthquake in Japan.

According to the reports, two earthquakes of magnitude 6.4 and 7.3 struck Kumamoto City in Japan on April 15 & 16, 2016. The quake killed over 270 people and destroyed or partially damaged some 43,000 homes in Kumamoto and neighbouring Oita prefectures.
Thus, from the above information, it is clear that the image is not and is not related to the recent quake.
