A viral video showing a group of Muslim people chanting “Bharat Maata ki Jai” and demanding freedom (Azadi) from various political leaders like Akhilesh Yadav, Rahul Gandhi, and Mamata Banerjee is doing the rounds on social media. Many users have shared the video, claiming that the Yogi government has made this possible in his state.
A Facebook user posted the viral post with a caption: *शासन दमदार हो तो!!* अच्छे- अच्छों” में बदलाव आता है!!* जय हो योगी महराज की (English translation: *If the government is strong!!* Change comes in the good-good!!* Hail Yogi Maharaj)

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral video, and found it to be misleading.
Running a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, we found a tweet by Nighat Abbass — a BJP Spokesperson from Delhi, dated May 7, 2019.
The caption of the tweet informs that the woman shouting the slogans in the video is Nighat herself and it confirms that they’re campaigning to seek freedom (Azaadi) from the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party.
We have come across another quote tweet by Nighat, replying to a January 16, 2020, tweet by Arun Yadav — a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Arun has tweeted the video to criticise Congress, demanding to save the Muslim community from Rahul Gandhi. To which, Nighat Abbass has replied that the video was from the 2019 Lok Sabha campaign in New Delhi and was made by BJP supporters only. This proves that the video has nothing to do with Uttar Pradesh or Yogi Adityanath.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral video, claiming that under Yogi Adityanath’s government Muslims in Uttar Pradesh are chanting Bharat Maata ki Jai and demanding Azadi from various political leaders is misleading.
