Thanks For Bringing Life Back To Cinema: Shah Rukh Khan On Pathaan’s Massive Success

Mumbai: Amid the massive success and glorious comeback of Bollywood’s megastar Shah Rukh Khan, he expressed gratitude to people involved in the process and thanked people for ‘bringing life back to Cinema’.

The frenzy of SRK’s ‘Pathaan’ continues as the film continues to break records all over the box office. According to reports, the film has become the highest-grossing opening weekend in the history of ‘Hindi Cinema’ by collecting ₹543 crores.

Shah Rukh while interacting with fans said that “We are all extremely grateful to the audience and media for supporting the film (Pathaan) so much in spite of the fact that there might have been things that would have curtailed the happy release of the film.”

Talking about the instances of clashes and protests ahead of the film, he said “There were times when we had to call people and ask them to release our film peacefully.” He further added that “Film watching and filmmaking is an experience of love and I want to thank all the people who helped us release this film (Pathaan) for the people.”

He further opened up about his break from the industry and added that he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Siddharth ‘Pathaan’ has the biggest superstars of the country – Shah Rukh, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham — in lead roles. It also stars Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles.
