According to a report, Athiya’s father Sunil Shetty gifted a ₹50-crore flat, while Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma gifted them a BMW car.

On doing a simple Google search, we came across several reports informing that Athiya Shetty’s family had denied the reports of such gifts.
A Hindustan Times report, dated January 26, 2023, stated that “a source close to the Shetty family shared that no such items had been presented to the newlyweds”.
Another report by NDTV, dated January 27, 2023, quotes a statement by Suniel Shetty calling the claims baseless. “All the reports published are absolutely baseless and not true about the gifts to Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul. We request the press fraternity to confirm details with us before publishing such incorrect information in public domain, please.”
Hence, it is established that the reports about luxury wedding gifts for Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are false.
