Fact Check: Does This Post Show Bilawal Bhutto Dancing to ‘Besharam Rang’? Here’s the Truth

A video of two people dancing to the song ‘Besharam Rang’ from the movie Pathaan is doing the rounds on social media, claiming that the man in the video is  Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

The video is being shared with the text: Pakistan is in safe hands of leaders like Bilawal Bhutto… they want Kashmir.

NewsMobile fact-checked the post, and found it to be false.

Putting the keyframes of the video through a Reverse Image search, we found a similar video uploaded by Inaya Khan, a Pakistani social media influencer. Inaya uploaded the video on January 12, 2023, in collaboration with Instagram user Mehroz Baig.

Inaya uploaded another video in collaboration with Mehroz, indicating that the man in the video is Mehroz Baig.

Speaking to NewsMobile, Baig also confirmed that he was dancing in the video. Mehroz, who is a media student at Iqra University, Karachi, told that the video was taken on January 8, 2023, at a wedding. “This event took place on 8th January at sunset club, Karachi. Where I performed with Inaya khan at her sister’s wedding.”

Hence, it is clear the video is shared with a false claim.
