FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the above claim, and found it to be FALSE.

Performing a Reverse Image Search, we identified an ANI tweet carrying the original video, dated July 22, 2019, with text: “Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi watched the live telecast of #Chandrayaan2 launch by ISRO, at 2:43 pm today.”

The same video with similar information was available on YouTube channels of NDTV, Hindustan Times and India Today on July 22, 2019.

According to an ABP News report, dated July 22, 2019, the launch of Chandrayaan 2 was a historic event which symbolised the progress of Indian science. The launch was originally planned for July 15, but was cancelled due to mechanical problems.

Thus, it is evident from the above information that an edited video of PM Modi is falsely shared as his reaction after watching the Pathaan trailer.
