Hyderabad: After a successful series against Sri Lanka, India is set to kickstart another home series against New Zealand on Wednesday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

India continues to be a dominant ODI front in the Home series over the past years. India has played a total of 25 bilateral series since 2010 and has won 22 of them.

Rohit Sharma-led side will be looking to continue the consistency as they move towards the ICC ODI World Cup scheduled later this year.

Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out of the series due to a back injury. Rajat Patidar will replace him in the squad. Ishan Kishan is likely to get a chance in the middle order after his iconic 200-plus knock against Bangladesh.

In-form all-rounder Axar Patel is out of the squad and Washington Sundar is likely to replace him in the playing XI. Wicketkeeper Srikar Bharat is also part of the squad for the series with spinner Shahbaz Ahmed.

India will play three ODI matches against New Zealand in this series followed by three T20 matches.
