#BoycotttPathaan was trending everywhere recently against the much-awaited movie, Pathaan, by Shah Rukh Khan. The movie has been amidst controversy ever since its first song release ‘Besharam Rang’ where netizens accused Deepika Padukone of allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of a particular group by disrespecting the saffron colour.
Against this backdrop, a viral video of Vidya Balan roasting Shah Rukh Khan at an award show is doing the rounds on social media. Users have shared the video claiming that even other Bollywood actors have started insulting Khan over Pathaan.
A Facebook user posted the viral video with a caption: पर्दाफाश पठान का बहिष्कार जनता कर ही रही है किंतु शाहरुख खान की बेज्जती अब बॉलीवुड वाले क्यों कर रहे हैं … ?? गई भैंस पानी में (English translation: Busted Public is boycotting Pathaan, but why are Bollywood people insulting Shah Rukh Khan now…?? the buffalo went into the water)
