The video of a robot in a combat drill is being shared on social media claiming that it is an AI soldier training.

Here’s the link to the above post.

FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact-checked the video, we found it to be false.

The original video had been uploaded by Corridor Digital on their official YouTube channel on October 26, 2019, with a title: “New Robot Makes Soldiers Obsolete (Boston Dynamics).”

Corridor Digital is an American production studio based in Los Angeles, known for creating pop-culture-related viral online short-form videos since 2010. They also make Parody robot videos in the style of ‘Boston Dynamics’. They have several YouTube channels, including Corridor Crew and Corridor.

In some of the previous videos, they have also demonstrated how to create fake ‘Boston Dynamics’ robots by using CGI animation and VFX.

In October 2019, NewsMobile debunked the same video, wherein it was being passed off as Israel, US governments using ‘robot’ soldiers.

Fact Checked: No, Israel, US governments are not using robot soldiers

The above information proves that the robots in the viral video are not real, but CGI animations.
