NewsMobile fact-checked the video, and found it to be old.

On watching the video carefully, we realised that three different videos have been edited together. So, we fact-checked all three videos separately.

Video 1

Putting the keyframes of the video through Reverse Image Search, we found that the same video was shared by the YouTube channel WildFilmsIndia on Apr 13, 2020, with a title: Nepal Earthquake CCTV footage from Darbar Marg, Kathmandu 25 April 2015.

Another YouTube channel has also shared the same video, dated Jun 15, 2015, with a title: Nepal Earthquake CCTV footage Darbar Marg Kathmandu 25 April 2015.

Thus, it is clear that the footage is old.

Video 2

The second video was shared on Twitter by the page Radio Farra 95.7 FM on November 23, 2021. The video was shared with a caption: #Attention A 4.52 magnitude #earthquake was recorded in #Quito and that’s how strong it felt in the capital. #news #Ecuador.

NewsMobile independently couldn’t confirm the location of the video, though, it is clear that the video is old.

Video 3

The third video (inverted horizontally) was uploaded on YouTube on Oct 12, 2021, with the title: Greece earthquake | Crete earthquake 2021.

Hence, it is clear that all the clips in the viral video are old and the post is misleading.
