Scanning through the YouTube channel of ABP News, we found the original video uploaded on November 11, 2020, with a title: WB Govt decides to promote class 10 & 12th students without exams | ABP News

The video description reads: Ahead of elections in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee government has decided to promote the students of class 10th and 12th without conducting examinations. The decision has been taken keeping in the mind the situation in the state due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This decision of the West Bengal government is considered to be quite crucial ahead of elections in the state.

The official social media handles of the Ministry of Education have also not carried any such recent announcements. Hence, it is clear that the video is old and the post is fake.
