FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the viral video, and found it to be false.
Running a Reverse Image Search of the viral picture, we identified a Google Maps image of the Qianchun Junction in Guiyang, southwest China’s Guizhou Province.
The image matches exactly with the viral picture, indicating that the latter is not from Uttar Pradesh.
Searching for the Qianchun Junction online, we traced an article, titled: Aerial view of bridges in Guizhou, dated December 15, 2021, published in the Global Times — a Chinese daily tabloid newspaper.
One of the pictures in the article matches with the viral image and the description informs that the province has built over 20,000 bridges since the late 1970s, because of its mountains and hills.
Also, a tweet by the Consul General of China to Karachi — libijian李碧建, published on July 28, 2021, contains a video displaying a “Spectacular aerial night view of a rollercoaster-like interchange, Qianchun interchange in Guiyang, southwest”
Here too, we can see that the bridge in the video matches with the viral picture and the former is situated in Guiyang, China.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral image, showing a bridge and claiming it to be from Uttar Pradesh, is false.
