Bhupendra Patel To Take Oath As Gujarat CM On Dec 12, PM Modi, Amit Shah To Attend

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is to take oath as the chief minister of the state for the second time on December 12. The BJP was leading in 157 seats in the 182-member assembly in Gujarat, exceeding the results in the previous election, according to data from the Election Commission of India.

The ceremony will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to reach BJP headquarters in Delhi at around 6-6:30 pm and is expected to address party workers on the massive win.

The state polls were held in two phases, with polling for the first phase in 89 seats held on December 1, and for the remaining 93 seats on December 5.
