Doing a simple Reverse Image Search, we traced a news report dated August 31, 2017, that carried the original image of Sheikh Hasina holding Bangladesh’s national flag. The headline reads: “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina weaving the national flag at the gallery after the Tigers posted a historic 20-run victory over the visiting Australia in their 1st Test at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on Wednesday.”
The same image was also shared on another news website dated August 31, 2017, with the description, “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was one of the jubilant Tigers’ fans waving the red and green flag in the stands when the Bangladesh cricket team clinched its first-ever Test win against Australia in Dhaka.”
On August 30, 2017, Bangladesh won a Test match against Australia. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was present in that match and congratulated the team by hoisting the national flag.
