A screenshot of a Twitter thread is doing rounds on social media in which journalist Nidhi Razdan had raised a complaint to mobile carrier Jio over data unavailability. To Razdan’s tweet, Jio replied by saying that she (Nidhi Razdan) hadn’t paid her bill and she should expect freebies just because she lives in Delhi.
“Hi @JioCare . Your mobile data in Delhi is down for the last one week and you guys don’t answer your “helpline”. Pathetic service,” Nidhi Razdan tweeted.
“Hi Nidhi, we checked the details and found you haven’t paid your bill. Just because it’s Delhi, not everything is Free,” Jio Care replied in the screenshot.

We started our investigation by scanning Nidhi Razdan’s official Twitter handle (@Nidhi) and found a tweet in which she had called out the above screenshot to be FAKE.
“Fake tweet alert. Clearly some people have nothing better to do. @JioCare did not say this, they reached out to help and resolve the issue. Lage raho,” she tweeted.
