New Delhi: Delhi Court on Tuesday gave permission to the Delhi Police to conduct a narco test on December 1.

- Special CP (law and order) Sagar Preet Hooda had earlier today said that Delhi Police will seek permission from the court for the test.
- Earlier, Delhi’s Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital is the only hospital in north India that provides the facility for narco-analysis tests.
- However, the Medical Director of the hospital, Navneet Goel, told ANI that they have not received any request from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL).
- Meanwhile, Aaftab Amin was brought to FSL amid high security for the fifth time to conduct the polygraph test.
- Border Security Force (BSF) security has been deployed outside the FSL office, where Aaftab has been brought for the polygraph test.
- Earlier on Monday evening, some sword-wielding men attempted to attack the police van carrying Aaftab, outside the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) office in Delhi.
- Both the accused, Kuldeep Thakur and Nigam Gurjar, arrested after the attack on Aftab’s van yesterday, were produced in the court and sent to judicial custody.
- An FIR has also been registered under Sections 186, 353, 147, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Prashant Vihar Police Station in this regard.
