A report published by Reuters, dated October 31, 2022, says that Elon Musk is the new CEO of Twitter. The report reads: ” Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) boss Elon Musk said on Monday that he will serve as chief executive of Twitter, the social media company he just bought for $44 billion, a move that Wall Street analysts have said could stretch the billionaire thin.”
He also became the sole owner and CEO of Twitter.
The LinkedIn profile of Sriram Krishnan also does not mention him as the Twitter CEO. Instead, it informs that he is a YouTube and Podcast host.
According to a report by India Today, “Sriram Krishnan currently works as investor and partner at the venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz — a16Z. The company is one of the investors in Musk’s purchase of Twitter. Krishnan, who was a Twitter employee from 2017-2019, has ‘temporarily’ joined a team of trouble-shooters to set up a new operation and help Musk revamp the site.”
Krishnan had also tweeted that he is temporarily working with Twitter. “Now that the word is out: I’m helping out @elonmusk with Twitter temporarily with some other great people. I ( and a16z) believe this is a hugely important company and can have great impact on the world and Elon is the person to make it happen.”
