Extracting keyframes of the video and running a search on the Russian search engine — Yandex, we found the longer version of the same video uploaded on a verified YouTube channel SabiSabiReserve, dated October 27, 2020.

We found that Sabi Sabi Reserve is a private game reserve situated in the south-western section of the Greater Kruger National Park in South Africa.
Also, we did not find any media report stating that a lion was recently spotted in the Karimganj district. Hence, it can be concluded that the viral claim is false.
