The Indian National Congress organised the Bharat Jodo Yatra to bring the nation together in opposition to the claimed “divisive politics” of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led administration in New Delhi, India.
In the above context, an image of Rahul Gandhi has gone viral on social media claiming that Rahul Gandhi has grown hair and a beard to resemble Karl Marx.
The image is shared with a caption: “#BharatJodoYatra में कार्ल मार्क्स भी राहुल गांधी के समर्थन में उतरे!” (English translation: “Karl Marx also came in favour of Rahul Gandhi during Bharat Jodo Yatra.”)

FACT CHECK
NewsMobile did the fact-check, and found it to be fake.
Doing a Google Reverse Image Search, we found a similar image in Deccan Herald, dated October 19, 2022, with a caption: “Rahul Gandhi declined to answer queries on the role of the president. Credit: PTI Photo.”
In the original image, the hair and beard are not as long as portrayed in the viral image.
Also, the original image had been Tweeted by Congress on October 18, 2022, with a caption: “योद्धा सा भाव है, संत सी मुस्कान। आज इसी के पीछे, सारा हिंदुस्तान।। ” (English translation: “There is a warrior-like spirit, a saint-like smile. Today behind this, the whole of India.”)
Hence, we can ascertain that the viral image is fake.
