Kolkata: The outgoing BCCI President Sourav Ganguly is likely to be back in administration as the president of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB).
According to a report by PTI, former Indian skipper Ganguly said that “Yes, I will be contesting the CAB polls. I plan to file my nomination on October 22. I have been in CAB for five years and as per Lodha Rules, I can continue for another four years,”.
There was a major buzz around Snehasish Ganguly, elder brother of Sourav Ganguly filing the nomination for the top post at the state association unit replacing Avishek Dalmiya.
Ganguly further added that he will finalize his panel on October 20. Earlier, Ganguly while speaking at an event said that he will move ahead to “something else”.
Roger Binny, former Indian Cricketer is likely to replace Ganguly as the President of BCCI.
