New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar is all set to embark on a two-day visit to Egypt on Saturday to explore new initiatives in India’s partnership with the nation.

The Ministry of External Affairs while announcing the trip added that Jaishankar is likely to discuss a range of bilateral, regional, and international issues of mutual interest with Egyptian counterpart Sameh Hassan Shoukry.

The MEA further added that “The external affairs minister’s visit to Egypt will provide an opportunity to review the entire gamut of our bilateral and multilateral relations and to exchange views with the Egyptian leadership covering a whole range of issues of mutual interest,”.

He will further interact with the Indian community including students in Egypt. As the external affairs minister, this will be his first bilateral trip to Egypt.
