One Suspect Arrested Allegedly Involved In Murder Of Indian-Origin Family In California

California: The suspect allegedly involved in the kidnapping and murder of four Indian-origin family members including a baby was arrested by the officials.

According to reports, Jesus Manuel Salgado was arrested on four counts of murder and four counts of kidnapping.

Merced County Sheriff’s Office facebook page said that “This evening, Jesus Manuel Salgado, the suspect in the kidnapping and murder of Aroohi Dheri, Jasleen Kaur, Jasdeep Singh, and Amandeep Singh, was booked into the Merced County Jail.”

The statement further added that “Our Detectives, alongside investigators from assisting agencies, will continue to follow up on any leads of additional people who may have been involved in this horrific incident,”.

The authorities recovered their bodies in a farm area on Wednesday after a farmworker alerted them to remains in an orchard in central California’s Merced County.

Earlier, 36-year-old Jasdeep Singh, 27-year-old Jasleen Kaur, their eight-month-old child Aroohi Dheri, along with 39-year-old Amandeep Singh were abducted.
