Mansa: One of the main accused in the killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, Lawrence Bishnoi’s aide Deepak Tinu, escaped from police custody on Sunday.
According to police, Deepak Tinu managed to escape from the custody of Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) officials when he was being brought from Kapurthala Jail to Mansa on remand in a private vehicle Saturday night.
Mansa police further added that “Tinu was being brought to Mansa’s CIA staff office from Kapurthala Jail when he escaped from custody. The accused had to be probed in connection with the Moosewala murder case,”.
MS Chinna, IG, Bhatinda assured that the police force is looking for him and added that if any police personnel is involved in his escape will not be spared.
