Gurugram: Heavy rainfall lashed several parts of the Delhi-NCR region, leading to waterlogging and traffic jams in parts of the national capital and nearby areas.

According to a report by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), instances of heavy rainfall in several parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, and East Uttar Pradesh over the next few days.
Due to a heavy downpour of rain throughout the day, visuals of pedestrians lining up on roads and lanes are due to instances of waterlogging. According to reports, the Delhi-Gurugram expressway was packed with cases of traffic jams due to rain.

Gurugram Traffic Police took to Twitter and added that “Traffic congestion has been reported on NH-48 due to heavy water logging near Narsinghpur towards Jaipur.”

Traffic officials added, “Water logging has been reported near Tulip chowk. Our traffic officials are on the spot to facilitate the traffic flow.”
