Mumbai: The much-anticipated spot for the Best International Feature Film was booked by the Gujarati film ‘Chhello Show’, which becomes India’s official entry at the 95th Academy Awards.
The film is directed by Pan Nalin and the cast includes Bhavin Rabari, Bhavesh Shrimali, Richa Meena, Dipen Raval and Paresh Mehta. The movie was released at a world premiere event at Tribeca Film Festival in June last year.
FFI Secretary General Supran Sen while talking to PTI added that “Chhello Show” is India’s official entry for Oscars 2023.” The film will hit the country’s theatres on October 14th.
The film is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur’s banner Roy Kapur Films, Jugaad Motion Pictures, Monsoon Films, Chhello Show LLP, and Marc Duale.
