Against this backdrop, a viral image — claiming that the driver who invited Kejriwal to his home is actually a supporter of Narendra Modi and he makes a fool of Kejriwal — is doing the rounds on social media. A picture of Modi can be seen hanging on the wall in the background of the viral image.
A Facebook user posted the viral image with a caption: केजरीवाल जी जिनके घर गए वह लोग तो @narendramodi जी के दीवाने निकले केजरीवाल जी को मामूँ बना दिया! (English translation: Those people whose house Kejriwal went to turned out to be a fan of @narendramodi ji and made a fool of Kejriwal.)

Running a Reverse Image Search of the viral picture, we found a tweet, dated September 22, 2022, on the official Twitter handle of Arvind Kejriwal, confirming that the CM had posted this picture after his dinner with the auto driver (whose name is mentioned to be Vikram Dantani) and his family.

The viral image is also visible in the tweet except Modi’s picture on the wall in the background.
We also came across a video, tweeted by Zee Delhi-NCR Haryana, dated September 13, 2022, showing the entire room where Kejriwal had dinner with the auto driver’s family. But the picture of Narendra Modi on the wall was missing from the video. This indicates that the viral image has been edited to spread false claims online.
