FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral image, and found the tweet to be fake.

Running a Google Keyword Search for Khanna’s social media profiles, we found his official and verified YouTube channel Bheeshm International, created on May 2, 2019. The channel has over 128 million views and over one million subscribers.

His Twitter profile @actmukeshkhanna has around 33,000 followers. We checked the viral tweet image on his profile, but could not find anything there.

However, checking another Twitter profile (@Mukeshk_1), mentioned in the screenshot, the viral post was found along with other tweets. The username of both profiles did not match. The original account of the actor is @actmukeshkhanna, whereas the username of the viral screenshot is @Mukeshk_1. Similarly, the date of joining on both accounts does not match as well. While the former joined Twitter in November 2018, the latter joined the platform in June 2022.

Also, the description of the account in the viral screenshot reads: Mukesh Khanna fan parody account. So, it proves that the account is a parody account and has nothing to do with the views or profile of Shaktiman-famed actor Mukesh Khanna.

Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral screenshot of the tweet is fake, and published from a parody account.
