Dubai: Mohammad Rizwan anchors the innings as Pakistan beat India by five wickets in the second encounter, recording their highest-ever run chase against India.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first. India put up an aggressive start with Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul cementing a strong start in the powerplay. Virat Kohli continues to shine as he played a crucial innings of 60 runs in 44 deliveries.

The Indian bowling attack failed to get quick wickets. Bhuvneshwar Kumar conceded 40 runs in his spell. Hardik Pandya had a tough game as he failed to perform with both bat and bowl.

Arshdeep Singh bowled the crucial final over after dropping an important catch of Asif Ali in the 19th over.

Mohammad Nawaz played a power packed innings of 42 runs in 20 deliveries taking the pressure off Mohammad Rizwan in the middle overs.

India will now face Sri Lanka in the next game of the stage on 6th September.
