Actors Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Kapil Sharma finally revealed the mystery behind the poster named “Mega Blockbuster” a few days after the posters surfaced online.

The three appeared in an ad for online marketplace Meesho for its ‘Mega Blockbuster Sale’, where they were joined by cricketers Rohit Sharma and Sourav Ganguly. Rashmika Mandanna and other people who shared the “Mega Blockbuster” poster are still missing from the ad video, which would let fans to assume that they will appear in another ad.

The ad begins with Ranveer Singh adjusting the ‘Mega Blockbuster Sale’ sign board outside a shop. He then makes his way out onto the street and begins calling to passing customers that the “market of all markets” is now open. The scene then shifts to Deepika Padukone describing the variety of offers to consumers. the ad is then followed by glimpses of Rohit Sharma and Sourav Ganguly and Kapil Sharma acting as salespeople inviting shoppers for the sale in a busy market.

When the “Mega Blockbuster” poster with the caption “trailer releasing on September 4” was first released, many netizens assumed it was a movie and used the comment sections of various posts to make predictions about what would happen on the big day.
