On Tape | AAP Vs BJP: War of Words Outside Delhi School

Date:

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders caught up in a verbal tussle outside a school in the national capital on Wednesday.

BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia and Saurabh Bharadwaj from AAP shared videos and their take on the incident on their respective social media platforms.

Gaurav Bhatia while attending a television debate program challenged AAP’s Saurabh Bharadwaj to show him 500 schools built by the Arvind Kejriwal-led government in Delhi. The challenge was then accepted by Bharadwaj and both decided to meet on Wednesday at Kautilya School, Greater Kailash-1.

According to reports, both the leaders arrived at the decided venue and visited a couple of schools, after which BJP’s spokesperson claimed that Saurabh could not furnish the list of 500 schools.

Bhatia further claimed in one of the videos that one school that the leader visited was old and another school was under construction.

AAP Spokesperson Saurabh in a video claimed that Gaurav Bhatia refused to enter the school and “ran away”. The video shared by Saurabh Bharadwaj shows him getting in car amid sloganeering of AAP supporters.

Bharadwaj further claimed in Tweet that they asked him to visit 498 schools but Bhatia “refused and fled”.
