Asia Cup 2022: India Continues To Fight Back After Rohit And Kohli’s Dismissal

Dubai: Indian batsman Virat Kohli and Skipper Rohit Sharma fell prey to Mohammed Nawaz as India scores 62 runs in ten overs.

Ravindra Jadeja and Suryakumar Yadav continue to build a firm partnership while chasing 148 runs.

Men In Blue dominate with the bowl as Pakistan bowled out by scoring 147 runs in the first innings.

India needs 148 runs to win the match in 20 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar hits big as he secured four wickets in his spell.

Hardik Pandya bagged three wickets in four overs.  The top batting order from Pakistan failed to give a strong start as skipper Babar Azam was dismissed in the second over of the innings.

Earlier, Men In Blue won the toss and elected to bowl first against Pakistan in the second game of the ongoing Asia Cup.

Rishabh Pant was not included in the playing XI. Dinesh Karthik joins the team as wicketkeeper for the game against Pakistan.

The Indian playing XI includes Rohit Sharma (C), KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Dinesh Karthik, Hardik Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh.
