A low-resolution video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is widely being shared on social media, while speaking about the atrocities against lower caste. The video is shared with a caption claiming that PM Modi in his speech instigated violence against upper castes.
In the video, he is heard saying: “Someone who has had to endure so many wrongdoings, whose upbringing was marked by injustices, atrocities, and harassment; someone who has witnessed his mother being degraded in front of them. Tell me, will they not repay it if they are given the chance? You are the one who forbade me from entering the temple, touching any water, and preventing my kids from attending school.”
A social media user shared the video with a caption: “सवर्णों को सबक सिखाने के लिए एक वर्ग विशेष को उकसाते हुए आदरणीय @narendramodi जी।” (English translation: “PM Modi promoting violence against an upper caste to people of specific caste”)
