Mumbai: Former cricketer Irfan Pathan complained about the hassle that he and his family had to bear while taking a Vistara Flight from Mumbai to Dubai.
Veteran fast bowler Irfan Pathan in a Tweet claimed that his confirmed booking was “involuntarily downgraded” when he approached the check-in counter to board the Vistara Flight UK-201 on Wednesday.

He further added that “I was made to wait one and a half hours at the counter for a resolution. Along with my wife, my 8-months old infant and 5 years old child also had to go through this.”
He further alleged that the ground staff was rude and was giving excuses for the issue. He also pointed out that a couple of other passengers boarding the same flight were going through the same experience.
He further urged the authorities to step in and take immediate action on similar kind of incidents so that others don’t have to go through it.
Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraaditya Scindia responded to the complaint posted by Irfan and added that “Sorry to hear this, Irfan Pathan,”. He further tagged Vistara and asked them to examine and respond.
Sorry to hear this, @IrfanPathan !@airvistara, please examine & respond.
