Domino’s India Responds After Pic Of Mops Hanging Above Trays Of Pizza Dough Goes Viral

Bengaluru: Multinational pizza chain Domino’s has issued a statement after a post on Twitter went viral showing a mop and a toilet brush hanging over pizza dough almost touching it.

Domino’s took to Twitter and added that “We adhere to stringent world-class protocols for ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. We have zero tolerance for violations of these operating standards.”

The statement further added that the incident will be thoroughly investigated and on the basis of findings appropriate measures will be rolled out.

Domino’s further assured its customers to be “Rest assured we remain committed to doing everything necessary towards ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers.”

The picture of the Domino’s outlet went viral with people questioning the hygiene standards of the outlet. People further call out the laid-back approach to maintaining standard services.

The picture was first posted by a Twitter user by the name of Sahil Karnany with the caption “This is how Dominos serves us fresh Pizza! Very disgusted. Location: Bangalore.”

He further tagged FSSAI, Health Minister of Karnataka Dr. Sudhakar and Union Health Minister of India Mansukh Mandaviya.
