The highly awaited Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer, Laal Singh Chaddha, finally hit the screen on Thursday. The official Hindi remake of the 1994 Academy Award-winning film Forrest Gump, also stars Mona Singh and South actor Naga Chaitanya.

Laal Singh Chaddha, played by Aamir Khan, is the topic of much discussion among internet critics, and #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha has been trending on social media for the past month.  As soon as the movie was released, netizens gave their verdict.

Laal Singh Chaddha drew extreme reactions, with either very positive or negative reviews. Certain sections of netizens called the movie a blockbuster while another section is confused why would anyone dare to remake the epic Forrest Gump.
