Mumbai: Actor Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif received death threats from an unidentified person on social media. Mumbai Police has further arrested a man who was allegedly sending death threats to the actors on Monday.
The Mumbai Police in a statement confirmed that a case has been filed at the Santacruz Police station against the unidentified person, A man accused of sending the threats was arrested.
Earlier today, a complaint was filed by Vicky Kaushal and the case is registered under 506(2),354(D) IPC r/w sec 67 IT Act. According to the report, the complaint added that one person was threatening and posting threat messages on Instagram.
The complaint further added that Katrina Kaif was stalked by the person and her life is threatened. The couple was earlier on a vacation in Maldives with family. The couple has been posting pictures on social media of their exotic getaway.
Earlier this month, Bollywood actor Salman Khan received death threats in the form of a letter. The letter stated that Salman and his father Salim Khan will be killed like Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moosewala.
