New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a humid morning on Monday with the minimum temperature settling at 26.8 degrees Celsius.
The Regional Meteorological Department of Delhi predicted a generally cloudy sky throughout the day with the possibility of isolated rain and thundershower in some parts of the national capital.
According to reports, the humidity recorded early in the morning stood at 82 percent in the Delhi region. The maximum temperature is expected to go up and settle around 35.7 degree Celsius.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), moderate rainfall is likely to occur in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Bihar over the next two days.
The report further predicted instances of heavy rainfall over Gujarat, west Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan in the next 24 hours.
