New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday took to Twitter and slammed BJP over the Agnipath scheme.
Rahul Gandhi in a tweet said that India’s national security and the future of the youth are in danger because of the new experiment done by “PM’s laboratory”.

He further claimed that more than 60,000 soldiers retire every year out of which only 3,000 get government jobs.
Rahul Gandhi questioned the scheme and added “What will be the future of thousands of Agniveers retiring after four-year contract?”
The Defence Ministry unveiled the Agnipath Recruitment Scheme under which youth between the age of 17 and a half years old to 23 years old will be inducted into the armed forces for four years. The ministry further added that 25% of these recruits will be subsequently transferred to regular services after the end of four years based on their performance.
