New Delhi: Amid Congress’s allegation against Union minister Smriti Irani’s daughter Zoish Irani, Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi on Saturday said an 18-year-old should not be demonised.
Chaturvedi took to Twitter and added that she speaks as a mother of 19-years-old, keeping politics aside that Congress should not “demonise”. She further added that “18-year-olds may not know the process is the punishment in acquiring license for running a restaurant in India, a young girl attempted something audacious in pursuit of her dreams”.
Priyanka Chaturvedi further added that “I also know the same courtesies will never be extended by BJP if tables were turned, however, need to keep some discourse aside of politics.”
Earlier, on Saturday, Congress alleged that Smriti Irani’s daughter is associated with an illegal bar in Goa. The minister challenged Congress and said, “I will see you in the court of law and the court of people”.
