Washington: US President Joe Biden tested positive for COVID on Thursday, as confirmed by the White House Administration.
In a statement released by the officials, President Biden is “experiencing very mild symptoms”. The statement further added that Biden is fully vaccinated and twice boosted.
Consistent with the CDC guidelines he is currently being kept in isolation in the White House. The statement further added that he will continue to carry out his duties from isolation till he is tested negative.
The White House will also keep updating the press daily on the status of President Biden’s health in order to maintain transparency.
