Haryana Top Cop Probing Illegal Mining Run Over By Truck

Nuh: In a shocking incident, Surender Singh Bishnoi, DSP Taoru (Mewat), who had gone to investigate an instance of illegal mining in Nuh, died after being allegedly run over by a dumper driver on Tuesday.

The police have further confirmed that one of the accused has been arrested. Police teams are carrying out raids at different locations.

ADG Ravi Kiran, IGP south range said that “He had come for a surprise inspection based on a tip-off. Didn’t come with backup force as he may not have found time for it. He was run over by the accused. No weapons used.”

Haryana police took to Twitter and confirmed that “DSP Taoru Sh Surender Singh laid down his life today in the course of duty. Haryana Police extends its deepest condolences to the bereaved family of the brave officer. No effort shall be spared in bringing the offenders to face justice.

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij talking about the incident said that “I have ordered to take strict actions against the accused. We will deploy police and force in the area and no one will be spared.”

Nuh Police official informed ANI today in this case and said, “Tawadu (Mewat) DSP Surendra Singh Bishnoi, who had gone to investigate an instance of illegal mining in Nuh, died after being run over by a dumper driver. A search operation is underway to apprehend the accused.”
