Rishabh Pant Shines As India Cease ODI Series Against England

Manchester: Rishabh Pant’s unbeaten century helps India win the match by 5 wickets against England leading to the ODI series win on Sunday at Old Trafford Ground.

India won the toss and invited England to bat first. England’s top order trembled in front of the Indian Bowling attack. Inform batsman Joe Root was dismissed by Siraj in his first over. England had two good partnerships, with one being a 66-run stand between Jason Roy(41) and Ben Stokes (27) and a 75-run stand between Moeen Ali (34) and Jos Butler (60).

Rishabh Pant smashes a crucial century in the finals of the ODI series. Pant and Hardik Pandya’s partnership helped India chase down the target of 260 runs on board. Hardik Pandya contributed 71 runs during the chase.

While India registered the win, Virat Kohli failed to score big and was dismissed early in the game.

Hardik Pandya shines with the ball as well, bagging his best ODI bowling figure of 4 wickets by giving just 24 runs in his spell.
